Description

Synolis VA is a pre-filled syringe based on Hyaluronic Acid capable of acting as a substitute for synovial fluid in intra-articular treatments and therefore very useful in cases of osteoarthritis.
Its composition based on sodium hyaluronate and sorbitol, specially made to enhance its effects, is capable of restoring the visco-elastic properties of synovial fluid, so as to quickly reduce the sensation of pain, often associated with difficulty in movement. Thus, being able to improve the lubrication and protection of joints from mechanical stresses,
can be used for infiltration in cases of osteoarthritis of the knee or other synovial joints affected by degenerative or post-traumatic changes.

Synolis VA is a hyaluronic acid-based intrarticular pre-filled syringe used in infiltrative therapy in osteoarthritis of the knee or other synovial joints so as to rapidly reduce pain with an intense and prolonged effect. Injection of the product should be performed by competent medical personnel.
Give 1 injection at weekly intervals, repeating the treatment for 3 weeks.
The beneficial effects will be appreciable for at least 6 months.
After administration, it is important to keep the joint at rest to avoid localized pain.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product. Do not use in cases of: preexisting infection in the skin area of the intended injection site; known infection in the target joint; known systemic coagulation disorders; active tuberculosis; herpes simplex keratitis; acute psychosis; systemic mycoses and parasitosis (strongyloid infections).
Do not inject intravascularly.

Do not inject extra-articularly or into tissues or synovial capsule.
Do not use disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts concomitantly for skin preparation, as hyaluronate may precipitate in their presence. Contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid freezing.
